The Harris Agency, a leading public relations firm, today announced that it is accepting applications for the 2027 edition of THA Impact, the agency’s pro bono communications grant program designed to help a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit broaden its reach and amplify its mission.

Eligible organizations are invited to apply for the opportunity to receive up to $25,000 in pro bono public relations support for a project or campaign in 2027. Support may include content development, media relations, media training, event support, social media engagement, or community outreach.

Now in its third year, the program drew a record number of impressive candidates in 2026. This year’s grant recipient is Beauty Marks for Girls, which is dedicated to empowering daughters of incarcerated mothers through mentorship and trauma-informed care.

“Programs like THA Impact help create the public awareness needed to attract donors, volunteers and funding,” said Peter Harris, founder and CEO of The Harris Agency. “It is our privilege to work with these remarkable organizations and cast a spotlight on the life-changing work they do every day.  The numerous applications we see each year are a powerful reminder of why this work matters.”

THA Impact is a product of The Harris Agency's commitment to support nonprofits that are making a difference in the world. The program was inspired by its pro bono work with Never Off Duty (NOD), a water safety and emergency response education nonprofit. The program has also supported Higher Up, Warriors & Quiet Waters, and has been nominated for several industry awards recognizing the importance of nonprofit communications.

Nonprofits can apply through the THA Impact website. Applications will be accepted through October 9th, and the selected nonprofit will be announced in December.
